Sound insulation and noise reduction methods for industrial blowers
In view of the noise characteristics of the blower, a comprehensive noise reduction method is needed. First, the mechanical noise of the blower and the electromagnetic noise of the auxiliary motor are dealt with. Use metal sound-absorbing and sound-insulating panels to build a soundproof cover to cover the main body of the equipment as a whole. Block the noise air propagation path and reduce the impact of equipment noise on the outside world. Since the fan motor needs ventilation and heat dissipation, an air inlet is opened on the motor side of the sound-absorbing and sound-insulating cover wall panel, facing the motor, and an exhaust port is opened on the top wall panel of the soundproof cover, directly above the motor, to ensure the normal operation of the motor through the circulation of hot and cold air. In order to prevent the equipment noise from escaping from the opened vents, air inlet mufflers and air outlet mufflers are set at the two vents respectively.
In order to facilitate the daily maintenance and overhaul of the equipment, an 800mm overhaul channel is left between the equipment and the soundproof cover, and a double-opening soundproof door is installed on one side of the soundproof cover for personnel to enter and exit, facilitating equipment maintenance and other work. Considering the possible overhaul of the equipment, the soundproof cover adopts a detachable modular design as a whole, which can be dismantled as a whole when necessary.
In addition, the aerodynamic noise of the fan blower is also the main noise source and must be treated with noise reduction. The design installs a duct ventilation silencer at the blower to reduce aerodynamic noise. Considering that the fan duct will radiate noise outward when the airflow passes through, in order to solve this problem, the design performs pipe sound insulation wrapping on the pipe outside the soundproof cover to reduce the noise radiated outward from the pipe.
By installing a centrifugal fan ventilation and heat dissipation soundproof cover, a duct outlet silencer, and a comprehensive noise reduction measure of the duct pipe wrapping, the fan noise pollution problem can be solved while ensuring the normal operation of the blower.
