How to prevent centrifugal fan medium leakage

Centrifugal fan is a fluid machine, widely used in ventilation, cooling and dust removal, etc., with a wide range of applications. The operation of this equipment requires internal sealing. If the internal medium leaks, it may affect the use. So how to prevent its medium leakage?

1. Disassemble the casing, remove the impeller, move the transmission group, and install a new packing seal or mechanical seal.

Advantages of this method: New seal type is optional and installation is standardized. The disadvantage is that the workload is large and time-consuming.

2. Add a simple packing seal without any disassembly of the centrifugal fan. Each set of this packing seal consists of a section of packing, two clamping parts, and two four semicircular workpieces. The advantage is that it only needs to be explained to the fan workpiece in the early stage and installed later, and it is not required for fans with low sealing requirements.

① Put the two workpieces marked with the word "casing" on the shaft, and weld them into a ring with the groove facing the bearing box.

② Put the two semicircular workpieces without the word "casing" on the transmission shaft, and weld them into a ring with the groove facing the casing. In this way, the transmission shaft passes through the two rings, and the grooves are opposite.

③ Weld the ring marked with the word "casing" to the casing, and note that the inner circle of the ring should be equal to the gap between the transmission shaft.

④ Weld the hexagonal heads of the bolts of the two clamping parts to the centrifugal fan casing respectively, so that one end of the clamping part can be pressed on the ring. Cut a piece of packing and wrap it in the groove of the ring, tighten the nut of the clamping part so that one end of it presses the ring, and then a recommended seasoning seal is successfully installed.
